So Much More Than Books!

The Mary J Barnett Memorial Library buzzes with activity throughout the week. Groups gather in the Taylor meeting room for card games and clubs while children rush in after school to enjoy games, the STEM table, and the maker space. People use computers, check out books and movies, or socialize over coffee and a communal jigsaw puzzle. Patrons also send faxes, make copies, and seek help with electronics. Preschoolers and parents play in the interactive space, and older kids enjoy the electronic game table. The library attracts visitors for many reasons.

Cookbook Club

Cooking up a potluck at MJB Library on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm.

Choose a recipe from a featured cookbook. Bring your dish & serving utensils. Enjoy some yummy new recipes.

April 6-12 is National Library Week

and the theme is Drawn to the Library. May I suggest you take a moment to see what your library has that might draw you to it? We have programs and resources for patrons of all ages and interests. Having a library card also provides you with access to many digital resources, such as Libby, which provides library cardholders access to ebooks, digital magazines, and audiobooks. The library truly has something for everyone at every age and interest level. If you doubt this, watch our website or social media for events and programs we offer.
